So, I thought about going to Glacier, just to drive through actually, since I don't have that much time. Your concern about crowds ( parking, lodging issues) in GNP is correct. The logistic (in addition to less driving) of visiting NCNP would likely be easier. They are two very similar parks - mountains, lakes, meadows, and glaciers. You will see more wildlife in GNP. You really can't lose with either.
