I only use it for Old One's Army, because I have other arenas for bosses and events. There are restrictions in place for Old One's Army that aren't applicable to other events, so this arena was pretty much optimized around those restrictions. The arena I use for frost/pumpkin moon and martian/goblin/pirate invasions has a LOT more traps.

Based on your gear I'm going to say you've beat EoW/BoC. Try extending the other end into the desert and move the stand to the left. If there's any block in the 10 block height it will stop the spawn. Also try clicking the stand with any item but the crystal.
