Its a shame the post war carbines have publicly bad reputation, when they actually have an intetesting history in their own right. What I have seen so far is cleaned up magazines with traces of corrosion, then parkerized. In no way attractive. I have been told the parkerized magazines were intented for troops in South East Asia. They should resist the humid climate better when parkerized.
