Hey Lego, I know this is re: an old post, but my inferium plants are also not dropping inferium seeds other than the one. I have farmed a plot of 9x9 inferium plants about 20 times and havent gotten a single extra seed, crafting the originals in the 9x9 manually. I am farming using inferium soil and without anything in my hand.

Inferium seed is slow to grow, I don’t think there is any issue. Even with accelerator it jump from 0-14-23, etc. When you can, try to get a growth accelerator 1. A random method of getting growth accelerator is by setting a monster spawner with witch water and an item collector.

So 5 rats all with upgrades total. Then finally a Harvester and Item Collecter, both from Cyclic with the Harvester attached to an Ender Chest from Enderchests connected directly to my Refined Storage. But once you have two level 6 seeds, and lock them into one corner of the farming station, it will automatically replant extra seeds it harvests.
