At first I was able to take the unit apart and use a soft brush to clean litter and dust out of the base and this would fix the problem.
Hello, my litter robot 3 is just out of warranty and was working fine until last week. Now when I plug it in, the cycling light flashes yellow once, then remains off. The control panel seemed slightly warm to the touch after a while. I tried replacing the power cord and same thing. I contacted support and they were totally useless.

Before plugging it back in, I hold in the cycle button, plug in while holding the button in, release, and it works again.
