I just bought a KFX 400 a few weeks ago. i took it out once before today. after riding for a few hours it would do some wierd things. the engine would run fine, idled fine, everything was good. as soon as i hit the throttle it would bog out. it would go a few feet, slow, but as soon as i gave it full ...simply connect the wres together to bypass it if the rubber plug is out of it. other than that. to rule out the handlebar switch , be sure the wires going to the button switch on the handlebars are disconnected and not touching each other.
