Jake brake not working on high.

It cuts out anywhere from a split second to extended periods of time (minutes, hours even). Sometimes if I bump the jake setting switch from 3 to 2 or 1, it will come back on again. Sometimes it will work on 2/1 but not 3. Other times it won't work at all on any of them.If the 2003 is the same as my 2005 you should have a high & a low for your Jake brake. There is a substantial difference and you should be able to feel the difference immediately. Not sure when WRV went to a high/low/off position jake brake, our early 2003 only has two positions--on and off.Low/High retarder current low indicates an open circuit for the Jake on cylinders 3 and 4.
