People want it as vortex frames go faster than adaptives so using it as a tool is better for shatter or well skating. Haven't tried on hunter. The video shows normal skating is much slower on the warlock though. I've heard shatterdive still works well. Im going to try it out when I get off work. I was wondering how normal eager edge skating felt on the other characters.
