155 posts · Joined 2009. #1 · Nov 21, 2009. Hey guys - so I finally stepped up and did my own oil change on my K7 :arsenal. I went with the shop recommended Motul 5100 15W50 oil & Vesrah oil filter. It was a pain in the a$$ getting off the old oil filter - the oil wrench I was using (see pic) wasn't cutting it.

IMO any good quality, clean, fresh brake fluid of the proper type will do the job just fine for every day use. it's more important to change the fluid regularly and use new un-opened containers of brake fluid to replenish the system. ... But for the neutral thing, sometimes, you just have to roll the bike a smidge or just releaase the clutch slightly for the gear to engage - thats not a problem and is normal.
