I returned the equipment to a UPS store to be shipped back to Verizon per a customer service agent's instructions. A few months later, I get a bill for $613 for unreturned equipment.
Decent experience here today for a simple drop off of a few equipment items for Fios. It is the only location in VAB where you can return equipment. I was worried it would be busy but I was lucky mid-day on a Wednesday and walked right in to help. Staff were efficient and friendly and I was able to drop the router off for a friend within 5 minutes.
