Yes, a P365 carries fine in a front pocket for me. I use a Desantis Nemesis. In fact, I carried a P365XL for a couple weeks out west touring the Rockies this summer in the same holster. Yes, it was slightly heavier but the trigger guard was covered in both cases. Obviously the P365 is a bit lighter.The P365 X-macro isn't that much smaller than the stock m18 but is definitely thinner which would help with printing. If you wanted smaller the P365X is a better option without going to a much shorter grip in the P365. Your point is that a small gun is small for good reason, namely concealability, and my point is that that small gun doesn't have to remain small because even at a similar height and length to a typical full-size gun (say my VP9 for example), it's still more concealable due to being thinner.
