It's been a thing since Biotech launched. The one issue with it (in my mind) is that if the mother has endogenes the game seems to assume the father is still 100% baseliner, meaning that her kid will probably have half her endogenes.

After their first child they cannot get pregnant again (becomes a health status). It's in the options but I cant remember the exact wording atm.
