Sorry for the 2 year late reply but I'm running into a problem of my own. I want to apply the bloodflame blade buff to the nagakiba but it's not letting me. I have enough Arcane and Faith Requirement to equip and use the buff and I have the dragon communion seal equipped and I have a keen nagakiba yet it just won't work. What am I missing?

Nagakiba needs 18 STR and 22 dex to wield and you'll need some endurance if you want to dual wield them. I would beat Marg for the lvls then do yuras quest. I just got the nagakiba and it took a few levels of endurance to wield both. Also, getting to the spot where you get the nagakiba from yura is...tricky. As for the question, I been using both on a bleed bluid, and Nagakiba has slight more damage but you need some points in STR to use it. Both are good enough imo, naga has more range but stick with what you like the most. I think the difference is like +6 ot 7 damage. The build I am going for is the nagakiba with the bloodflame blade incantation. I am thinking of investing in str/dex for the nagakiba, and a bit of faith because of bloodflame.
