Very bad in my opinion. I used to have it as my main pierce LBG, but the ammo capacity really held it back for me. With the new update, I can now fit in Ammo Up 2 into my Vigil Kugel build, and at that point, I saw no reason to go back to the Chaotic Gore Magala LBG.

Kadachi or Safi pierce HBG can fire away at a monster doing consistent damage while being very safe due to distance. As your teammates will be the ones tenderising, you can just safely fire away from the backline and contribute.Talking about it quickly, low rank to high rank uses raw attack builds; normal, pierce 1, and pierce 2. Elemental builds without Focus 2 are likely much better for Courage, but you will have to play with uncomfortable sharpness in many cases. Bow: Chameleos bow now loses to other spread bows in a couple more matchups (though it's still a very strong bow). More information available here. While RF Ele Pierce is indeed a loss in dps from straight Ele Piercing, it can be more ammo efficient and aim-forgiving which is nice in multiplayer. In most cases, Pierce Ele is going to be the best option, however on some compact monsters like Goss you'll probably do better dmg with RF Ele. RF Ele can also be easier to use than Piercing Ele ...
