Put the old firing pin back in and check the amount it protrudes from the bolt face when it is fully forward. The firing pin floats in the bolt and depending on how clean the channel is that the pin rides in it will sometimes keep the firing pin from moving freely. Easy to do just remove the the pivot screw for the lever with the lever opened up half way . Then slide the lever straight down out of the receiver . The bolt will come out the back nice an easy .
