I have a John Deere LA 175 (original owner) with about 350 hours on it and have kept up the maintenance. Recently, the PTO clutch went bad; because the tractor also had a slow oil leak that required fixing (estimate $1,000 parts and labor for the two issues), I decided to get a new zero turn mower to cut the grass and keep the John Deere to pull a work cart around my 3+ acre property.
