There's an ornament for a glaive called "Vexcalibur" that is unlisted in the exotic weapons tabs. Do we know what the "Vex Strike Force" exotic gear is? It's visible on the Vex area of Neomuna, and if we don't it could be part of that. As an additional thing: there's a few 'Refit' perks with a picture of Vexcal as the catalyst icon.

Yeah, just like how you can hover a public event and see that it says it gives rare gear, you can see the vex offensive happening and it will say that it drops exotic gear, up to five minutes before it happens just like a public event.

It happens to me kind of often due to loading and travel delays. I think it happens when the event has already finished or reached a certain point where it no longer spawns when you reach the location.
The one time I got the event, they just didn't spawn at all on one side. As title says I honestly don't have the time to sit around for a vex strike force to happen cause I work nine to five and most people are free on the weekends so it makes a bit of sense and I mean most of the time I like playing destiny on the weekend anyway so it just seems like a bonus
