A few here have fixed the radio buttons not responding by taking the fairing apart and then using some di-electric grease in the adio connectors in there. I don't remember anyone have a squeal/feedback problem.

The Roadstar has a longer stroke for more torque, where as the 1300 has a shorter stroke with higher compression. The 1300 was made to run at higher RPM range, so it's much quicker than the Roadstar. 1) Lift, push forward slightly, and carefully replace the tank. . 2) Lift the rear and prop it up. Use the Pork and Beans. 3) Replace the two small rubber hoses at the front left of the tank. 4) Install the new clamp on the hose that had the funky clamp. 5) Replace the two hoses and tighten the new clamp.
