I personally through our in house dyno tuning find that ratios of 12.9 (being the richest) and 13.3:1 will make more horsepower.The problems with major cracking has been in the liner built boats. The stringer built boats such as the 25 have been fine. The problems you have heard on the 2006 and prior boats have been in the 23, 30 and a few 20/202s. There were several 35's and a couple of 26's as well that had the problems. We have a 25 Outlaw and love it.
