When I spoke to the directv rep this afternoon, they informed me that the only way I can get the NHL Network is to upgrade my subscription to the "Ultimate" or "Premier" package. Upgrading from my current package to the Ultimate package will cost me an extra $14/month or $140/year. I'm already dropping $160 on the damn NHL Center Ice.
