Every single fanwar seemed like the biggest thing. And all other fandoms seemed so antagonistic. With belonging to a group of any kind, it often comes with alienation from other groups. So while fellow fans of the same kpop group all felt like allies, everyone else felt like they were always on thin ice.

As for your whole rant,i personally think Jungkook's album is one of the best that it was released by a Kpop artist this year, the production is top noch, better than any album that Big Hit has produced in years with their atrocious outotune , Jungkook's vocals are gorgeous, songs like SNTY, Seven ,SGOT,Somebody, Closer to you are gems.

Kpop fan culture seems heavily centered on competition with fans of other groups, so knowing that it seems a natural conclusion that all of BTS success makes their fans feel this way. They feel like they played a hand in making them the biggest boyband ever, so there is probably lots of personal pride involved here.

K-pop idols are fairly young, so I think it's understandable if they don't have awesome stage presence. Also, because many k-pop idols are in a group, I think a k-pop idol can get by without stage presence if some other members are more charismatic...I mean honestly, the reasons so many k-pop groups are huge is so members don't need to be all-rounders.
