I highly recommend it. I recently had a claim with my new horse and they handled it so quickly. I have $7500 in major medical and mortality insurance too. I believe the premium is about $1200 per year. With my prior horse, I unfortunately had to use insurance as well (it was Great American insurance) as he had an accident and had to be euthanized.
