Had to get an oil change and ended up going to the dealer - on their inspection they said there's a leak on the bank 2 rocker arm oil control valve. Quoted me $722 for the replacement.

Feb 28, 2019 · Honda agreed with me that they should have advised me that the oil leak may damage the alternator, therefore they covered the cost for a new alternator (was a few months outside of the 1 year warranty). I did have to pay for the new spool valve. Cost approx $750 Canadian. Part was $230, plus a few hours labour.
