Ive actually found a workaround for this issue, you need to use "manage saves" instead of using the "continue" option. Then you can go to your position of choice and load it manually and that stupid position change issue ...Madden 23 FoTF position glitch? I’ve been playing face of the franchise as a WR and had leveled up my skills quite a bit. All of a sudden after playing a regular season game it reset my level and changed my position in the menu to a quarterback.The issue: when you try to select a contract at the end of year 1- you can’t. After your agent and you have a chat, the game takes you to a selection table, when you click a contract, the game aborts face of the franchise and takes you back to the madden 23 Home Screen. I’m trying to play Face of the Franchise and it looks like they’ve added back a bunch of old stuff which is exciting but I can’t upgrade my player (RB) with the appropriate abilities because every time I click “Upgrade Player” it gives me the abilities and X Factors for a QB. If I delete my face of franchise qb will that delete my qb progress in the Yard ? For some tease FoF is stuck at renewing my year 2 contract and just kicks me to the main menu everytime I pick a team.

Same issue for me. Even started a new HB FOF and it did the same thing around week 4 of regular season. Same thing just happened to me today. Was a lvl 25, with a CB that was 94 overall and everything reset but only for my League player. My H2H still has my level 25 and my Rep points. So I’m confused why only The League has been reset.

Don't play face of the franchise, it does that for every position on everyone's game. Play regular franchise and just play as the single player as a RB. So I finished my first season and I’m at the point to resign with my team or others and no matter what I do it won’t go past the team I select. It just brings me back to the main menu. So basically I wasted a whole season for nothing since I can’t get past this. 🤦🏽‍♂️
