Who is Kathy's Alterations. Kathys Alterations opened in 1980. Mine was the very first alterations business in Ahwatukee (Phoenix), Arizona. I attended a vocational school, wh ich locals call the Voc in my hometown of Lawrence, Mass. At the Voc I learned the fine art of tailoring, alterations, fashion and design.
