The uworld sciences I would say are a somewhat easier. I took the mcat last September and the sciences on the mcat were extremely similar to the aamc section bank with maybe 1 or 2 passages even being harder. Also, the psych/social for uworld is very helpful because it really gets you thinking about the differences in terms.

UWorld is way harder than aamc in my opinion. I test 5/24 and did UWorld last month and was getting anywhere from 60-80% and got 516 on AAMC FL1 last week. Uworld is definitely harder than MCAT questions. As long as you are understanding why you missed the questions and learning from charts/graphics you should be good.The section banks were the level of the harder passages on test day, but definitely were within the ballpark of things that showed up. Uworld is pretty close to the real deal, especially for a third party company. The BEST thing about Uworld is the crazy in depth explanation for every single question and getting lots of practice with timing down.As for how to assess your preparedness for the real MCAT, there are a few baselines for official AAMC practice scores. Also I’m 99% sure that they have used an algorithm to determine the most high yield content on the mcat and made practice problems off just that. NCLEX is nothing like Uworld. Uworld is an overload of information and makes you think differently, it’s not convoluted like Uworld but answers are straight on actual nclex. Almost everyone who failed can tell you the nclex Qs are not at all like Uworld .
