If a customer doesn't really care about paint quality and I want to get a decent finish without breaking the bank, I always go for PROMAR 200 or Benjamin Moore UltraSpec. Both look good and are easy to apply and I can get both for around $25 per gallon. Furthrmore both these paints are better than the best Behr paint.We just had our entire basement painted with PM200. It looks fine. Good enough. We had our basement gutted and remodeled. Painting wasn't explicitly part of the contract and I thought I was going to have to paint it myself. So they sorta/kinda did the painting for free. I wasn't going to dictate which paint they used.
