Pythons. I have the new King Cobra with 3 inch barrel and Colt says it weighs 28 ounces. Colt doesn't list the weight of the 4 inch barreled King Cobra, but I wouldn't think it would weigh a lot more than the 3-inch barreled model. The weight of a 4 inch barreled Python is listed as 42 ounces.

That being said, the new 3" King Cobra info lists it as 5.5 oz lighter (28 oz) then my S&W 2.75" (33.5 oz), and 9.2 oz lighter than the new 19 (37.2 oz) if that matters to you. There’s an interesting YT video by GunBlue490 about the changes made to the new K frames.

The sights on the King Cobra are fixed with a groove in the top-strap and a black blade up front with a brass bead set on it. I've got his service grips on my Python and the quality is evident.
