I’ve been with Schwab for a little over a year now.. and I think I’m going to take the plunge to move to Fidelity solely because of the fractional share/etf buying ability. Schwab only offers fractional shares for companies in the SP500. If Schwab had fractional shares for more stocks and etfs then I probably wouldn’t switch.

I do know you can buy them through fidelity, but I believe you can’t sell just a fractional share. I think you have to close your position entirely if you have a fractional share and want to sell the fraction. I read something about that on my account the other day if my memory serves me well
