Update: I was accepted off the waitlist yesterday!! They seem to be doing it in waves, and starting early (I've heard a few other schools starting early as well, likely due to lower yield since COVID 19). I didn't send anything else to them, for reference. I am going to send a LOCI to Cornell, my other waitlist. I was reading the BU Disorientation Guide 2010, and this was a list of professors that were listed as amazing: L.J. Samons (Classics) Anthony Barrand (Anthropology) Amy Appleford (English) Ginna Hall (Communications) Stephen Prothero (Religion) Carrie Preston (Women's Studies/English) Last year BU offered the wait list to approximately 4400 students. Approximately 2200 accepted spots on the list. 4 were admitted off the wait list. So the odds are beyond long. My daughter was waitlisted by BU as well. In fact, all 3 of my children have been waitlisted by at least 1 school.Also, based solely on your list, BU seems to be your preference. Also, one last thing, if you are in a school like CU you aren't as exposed to many different people, or academic areas.
