Once you have tbow, blowpipe, and zcb its basically irrelevant. It has a few uses at gwd, like Range 6:0 bandos (shadow 5:0 is better). Also technically BIS at leviathan under 450hp, but crystal armor swap is pretty shit so max setups just use ZCB and Tbow with masori. It's incredibly good for mid-late game players who don't have tbow / zcb ...uh, armor uses like 0 charges for most content. and the corrupt part of the bowfa is pretty negligable, it's very inexpensive to use uncharged if you happen to get really lucky on it. ammo isnt really ever a limiting factor for ranging, you can buy rune arrow heads and make rune arrows very early on. but yeah, bowfa is excellent.

The armor really makes it shine and in a lot of situations you are safespotting so the armor doesn't consume any charges. Definitely worth it. With 99 range, regular crystal bow, anguish, crystal armor, pegs, assembler, archer ring (i), barrows gloves, no pray or pots, DPS is only 0.05 lower than bowfa with full arma and otherwise the same gear.

Zulrah for example T bow is only about 5% more DPS than bowfa.
