Kotor twist.
The twist is masterfully foreshadowed and when it does come the scene is great though like bioshock its the only thing people talk about because its so memorable. Kotor 1s story is good but its to me at least annoyingly black and white and when it does try to be grey it dosent do it too well.

If it was a huge twist like the KOTOR 1 one (which was, incidentally, spoiled for me too), that'd be pretty frustrating, but if it's only a minor twist, then, eh, oh well. Not really a twist honestly. There really isn't a twist to KOTOR 2 and the game even addresses people expecting a twist. Man KOTOR 2 was such a cool game.

I think that KOTOR I was so beloved because it delivered the Star Wars experience fans had always wanted, in addition to being a great RPG. Also, the twist at the end FEELS like a classic Star Wars twist, on par with the big reveal of Darth Vader being Luke's father.

The writing for the whole thing is just beautiful and intense, the dialogue on the Ebon Hawk afterward is better than anything I ever would have expected from Kotor at the beginning of the game. I also think it's cool how the game almost lulls you into a false sense of security by having no enormous surprises until the Leviathan shows up.
