Well my 2001 Impala is very nice but I hear I weird knocking noise in the front of the car, it's like all the car is cracking, I hear that noise only when I'm accelarating from a dead stop, all little acceleration or when I put it in reverse so if you have the same probleme maybe its your ball joint, bushing, cardans (I don't know the english word), your tie rod.My 2000 chevy impala leaks water from the passenger side dash board when i run the AC looked under the dash and the blower is where the water is coming from it is only water and no coolent. Wait for it to quit knocking, then turn the recirculate on and off. If that doesn't do anything, change from dash vent to floor vent. If that doesn't do it, switch your temperatures.

I am experiencing intermittant knocking under the dash that ocurrs when I start the vehicle, turn on the AC and switch the flow of air from recycled to direct. The knocking will last for about 45 seconds then goes away. The knocking continues when I trun off & on the fan or AC, turn on the heat ect.
