I'm a fan of Kirkland everything, and their sherry cask aged Alexander Murray scotches are no exception. My absolute favorite was the Speyside 22 year release a couple years ago. For $50-90, these releases are always a great value for the age statements. I had most of a bottle of the 24 Speyside sitting on my shelf from last year.

It’s so easy and nice to drink. In a coup, this $90 Kirkland 25 Year Speyside Single Malt is much better than the $450+ Glenlivet 25, which has a legendary brand name. The Kirkland 25 has more deep and complex fruit flavors that pop, while the Glenlivet 25 is dull in comparison and a real letdown.
