My wife called me today that she started to smell a strong rotten smell in her 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. Shortly after the start/stop unavailable message came back. When she got home I could smell the strong rotten smell seemed to be coming from the small battery next to the larger battery under the hood. You might get some unusual messages, but sometimes they are related to a bad battery so don't panic. You might want to also change the fob battery (watch battery CR 2032) or put the fob next to the start button when you push it since a weak or dead fob button can keep the van from starting. 2017 Pacifica Touring L (gas) No ESS - Sept. 2016 build.Never been replaced.
