Cemu did take almost two and a half years to get BotW running stable 30fps on mid-lower end hardware. Yuzu doesn't run BOTW at more than 30fps. Yuzu has a flatpak that's available directly to the from the "app store" that comes default with the flavor of Linux they're using. So it's literally just search and click install. I belive it also got an update specifically for the steam deck recently.

Try setting the "Scaling Filter" within the "Performance" tab of the right side menu to "FSR". You should immediately see an improvement. You shouldn't need to restart the game.
