My Performa is not performing well. This set has been non stop trouble. When you press the button to start it makes a humming noise. Sometimes if you hold it down it will drag and then take off. Other times it won't and I assume the motor kicks out to keep it from overheating. I can usually move the drum and once it cools down I can get it …

After the dryer stopped, I checked the clothes and they were still wet. The two wire coil registered 1315 ohms.
