Allthemodium spawns where deepslate does (no specific Y level is any better than the rest) just don't go deeper than the nether level. Vibranium only spawns in the Nether (near the roof in my experience, JEI tells you what biomes, two forests iirc) or at a certain Y level range (exposed to air) in caves in the Other dimension.

Seems like this tint change is not the primary issue for allthemodium ores.crimson_iron and azure_silver are commented out in ATM9 perhaps as a quick way to workaround the tint issue.
